A New York City native immersed in fashion and art from a young age, Maria studied business and fine art as an undergrad before studying art history while working as an executive in the fashion industry. Before founding MDG Art Advisory LLC, Ms. Di Grande worked for renowned designers such as Calvin Klein, Donna Karan, and Giorgio Armani. After many years in the top tier of the fashion and athletic apparel industries, including as Vice President at the North Face Inc, Maria returned to her passion for art, utilizing her business acumen and broad experience to build a roster of world-class clients. She is passionate about her love for mixing and curating contemporary art into distinct environments.
Ms. Di Grande received her BA from St. Johns University and has studied art history and curatorial practice thru Sotheby's, Mills College, and UC Berkeley. She is a former student at the Art Student's League NYC and has served on numerous boards in non-profit and art institutions in New York City and San Francisco.
Most recently, Maria Di Grande joined the team at Winthrop Center to select and curate a large-scale iconic sculpture in Boston, MA.
Ms. Di Grande lives with her husband in San Francisco and New York. She is a world traveler, a working mom, a tennis enthusiast, and a student of the Italian language.
